Why We Do What We Do

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Matthew 28: 19-20 [KJV]

At Come and See Ministries, we are commited to touching the lives of people both at home and abroad. Alongside the work we do in our immediate community, we are active in mission work outside the UK. This is to fulfill the words Jesus spoke in the bible passage above.

Here are our mission reports, we hope you are blessed by them and touched to participate.

Nigeria (15th July 2014- 5th August 2014)

Pastor Roseline was sent off on a mission to Nigeria on Tuesday 15th July 2014. She left London for Lagos, Nigeria where she had a 3 day program at the International Ministers Fellowship. After this, she travelled for a night at Owerri, Imo State, where she ministered at a church. After this, she travelled to Akure, Ondo State, for a 3 day conference. It was a powerful where the power of God moved tremendously and many lives were changed and touched. She made a final stop at Lagos where she visited an orphanage in Lagos which also catered for orphans with physical and learning disabilities. Such an orphanage which caters for orphans with disabilities is uncommon in Nigeria and it brought joy to her heart to see that the children were being well taken care of. The church was able to donate gifts and aid to this orphanage through Pastor Roseline. She returned to London on Tuesday 5th August, 2014.

The mission went well, and the name of God was glorified.

Below are some pictures from the trip.

MISSION TO LIBERIA/SIERRA LEONE

7th October 2013 - 22nd October 2013

"The mission to Liberia and Sierra Leone was a mission of hope and love. We went to support the poor, the orphans and the widows. We were able to support and feed them during our time there. There are many children there with no parents and who can not afford to go to school. Children of 10 years who had never been to school. We were able to support them and sponsor some of them to go to school. We were able to buy school books and uniforms for the children who needed them and also buy bags of food and produce for the less fortunate. We thank God for using us as a blessing and a source of hope for the people we met." - Pastor Roseline Anyanwu.

Pastor Roseline and Sister Lizzy Alaneme left London on the 7th of October for Freetown, Sierra Leone. They arrived the next day and met with Pastor David Keifala of Word of Faith Ministries, Aberdeen, Freetown, Sierra Leone. After resting that day, they began a 3 day revival service on the 9th of October. Lives were touched and the power of God moved mightily and freed people from bondage. On the Sarturday and Sunday, they met with orphans and widows and fellowshipped with them, providing food and drink and school materials for the children to go to school. They left for Liberia on the 15th and spent four days with Pastor Amos Freeman of Higher  ground Bible Church International. During this time they fellowshipped with the congregation and visited the church's free school, God's grace fellowship Primary School. It is a school for children who are orphans or whose parents cannot afford to take them to school, and it was established that year. Through Pastor Roseline and Sister Lizzy, Come and See Ministries were able to provide the school with funds to help run it, and also support the children by providing them with school materials and food. They left Liberia for Sierra Leone to fellowship with Pastor David once again before returning to London on the 22nd.

Many lives were touched during this trip to the glory of God.
